Drayage & Cartage refers to the transport of a container from one harbor to another via land.
We offer following drayage facilities:
Inter-carrier Drayage
The most common drayage service is this one, which makes use of multiple carriers to move goods from a rail station to a trucking terminal.
Intra-carrier Drayage
A container is carried between multiple freight terminals operated by the same firm in intra-carrier drayage. A container transfer from a container station to a railway terminal or a marine port owned by a single firm is an example.
Door-to-Door Drayage
Door-to-door drayage refers to shipping a container straight from the Seller’s warehouse to the customer’s door.
Accelerated Drayage
Accelerated drayage is a quick transfer of goods across land is handled to meet deadlines for urgent delivery.
Shuttle Drayage
Shuttle drayage is effective for dealing with congestion issues at terminals or transport hubs. It utilizes parking lots, etc., to temporarily store containers until the space problem is solved.
Specialized Drayage
Some cargo is temperature sensitive and needs to be packed in refrigerated containers. These are goods that do not normally fit into a container or a box and require specialized equipment such as a flat rack, open-top, high-cube, or chilled container.
